Upgrading my ram

Hi guys,  

 

I want to upgrsde my ram to a 8x2 kingston ddr4 predator 3200 mhz

 

My current setup is

I5-7600k

Msi z270 gaming m7

Corsair 8x2 ddr4 2400mhz

 

 

My questions is  will the new ram run in my mobo since in the cpu spec it only supports 2400 mhz

You'll see zero performance improvement. Ram speed doesn't matter on Intel.

Max RAM speed for that motherboard is 4000Mhz, so yes it'll work fine (you run it overclocked, with the built in XMP).

 

You still wont notice much, if any, difference in performance though.

yey thanks. yah I'll be upgrading my ram since i'll be shifting to ryzen for production. Just upgrading my ram first until i can find a buyer for my cpu and mobo hehehe

Yes, i agree on that one. just upgrading my ram first since i am planning to change my setup to ryzen for production
