How can i do this the cheapest way possible ? surveilance webcam

suvalf

So i am looking for the cheapest / easiest way to set up a surveilance webcam in my garage and connect it to a monitor in my office. I already have a compute monitor but I can't figure out what is the easiest way to do it.

I was thinking a wireless webcam could do the trick but i don't know how I can access the live feed from the webcam on to my monitor.

This would be the best solution if i can make it work.

I just need to make it run for a couple of hours and then scrap it. So nothing sustainable.

any other ideas ? or how can i make my idea work ?

How much do you care about privacy? There's a wireless cam on Amazon for $25 but user reviews say that you won't be the only one watching it LOL.

I need it to be connected to a monitor so that people can look at it

can it do it without connecting it to a computer ?

No. A computer has a monitor too, why can't it be connected to a computer?

Not with that camera. You'd need a camera with HDMI output, a TV with HDMI input, and a wireless HDMI link device. That would be the simplest cheapest consumer level setup I can imagine that's all plug n play.
