Micro lags caused by GPU ?

Hello. So I like 8 months ago bought EVGA GTX 1080 SC2 after like 2 months I started to have microlags. It tried everything and only what I managed I just make it better but it didnt dissapear. I kinda got used to it and didnt deal with it but this last month my pc really microlagged hard but I was at work most time and didnt have time to work on it. Now I have in my pc used R9 390 8Gb and everything runs absolutly fine. No lags nothing. Do you think they will accept my warranty because what I know they just test it If it works on testbench and care If it pass and my GTX 1080 will I tried it It runs Time Spy etc.... just fine but in games it lags and sometimes in win
