Rx 5700 Psu

Kevin2145

Will a rx 5700 be able to run with a 500w psu? Right now I have a rx 480 and a r5 1600.

Which 500 watt PSU that is matters a lot.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Agreed, I learned this lesson the hard way. For example, A corsair Cx750m wont run a 1080 ti real well if at all. But their RM750X runs it perfectly fine and to its full potential. Same manufacturer and same watt rating but these 2 power supply's are far from equal.

That's far too vague, there are tons of 80+ bronze 500 watt power supplies

That's a pretty low end power supply, I'd have reservations about putting it with something like a 5700
