Hey guys, I was just wondering what aftermarket solution I could get for my R9 290X, considering there is no ETA on the Kraken G10 Bracket, what other options are are there?

Thanks!

You could start by letting me hug the crap out of that dog in your profile pic!

I'll be paying attention to this thread as I'm getting ready to do a custom water cooling setup. Will be overkilling with pink :D

I'm personally going with a RayStorm 750 EX280, EK-FC R9-290x, some tubing, and a few extra fittings. Because the EX280 is a thin radiator and only 280mm, I might get another 120-240mm radiator, depending on the temps I'm getting.

Gigabyte, MSI, Asus, Sapphire and XFX have aftermarket coolers. You can also get a water block and a custom loop but a non-ref card would be better imo.

I think GELID has an aftermarket cooler that can fit into a 290X if you're looking to buy the reference model and strip it of the standard cooler.

Its terrible. does not fit across the VRM's properly causing them to heat up past there 125c limits.

I don't use them but http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-008-NX has the G10, guessing they ship to wales.

Also the Arctic Cooling Accelero Xtreme III is a fantastic cooler. Have one on my 290x. Check the sig link for more info chap.
