Coolermaster ML240R

Hey,

So this AIO liquid cooler is being gifted away with the purchase of any MSI x570 motherboards, I was wondering if it was any good or if I should just go with good old Noctua air cooling.
The case should be a fractal design R6 housing a ryzen 3950x and a yet TBD 2080ti with a few gen4 ssds.

Well... it's as entry level as it gets with 240mm AiO's the fans are on the louder side and cooling performance is just an 'okay'.

For free you might as well use it but obviously a high end Noctua cooler will be better at everything, more silent and cooler and help with VRM airflow.

It should be okay, not great, not terrible. (Only 3.6 roentgens)

if it’s free, it’s infinite value, it’s basically a 50-60$ cooler.

I see ; if course I wasn't expecting a high end cooler but it's best to have an idea where it stands.

While it's free I'd rather not cut costs on CPU cooling - it would be very sad indeed to build a 4/5k rig and cheap out on the cooling ;)

Also, I can consider other mobo brands with my heart at peace .... :D ( thought the Ace indeed got a lot of features right )
