monitor What to do?

So my birthday is coming up and i want to treat myself with a new monitor.Since im a poor casual im going to buy a cheap ish monitor that only has freesnyc ,the problem is i have a nvidia graphics card.Now ive seen the video where Linus gets freesnyc working by plugging the display cable to the motherboard and activating its apu (i do have a ryzen 3 2200g that has a inbuilt gpu) so you can run the freesnyc thingy.Sounds well and all ,until i realize my motherboard does not have a display port available.Now this is a problem since i want my new monitor to be 144hz and the only way i know of getting that and freesnyc is trough DP. Sorry if this has been full of spelling errors im quite tired and english isnt my first language.

Freesync works with Nvidia GPUs. Just have to grab a display that works better than others.

Oh ,so it does not have to be from the "official list of supported freesnyc monitors" that ive seen on the internet?Thanks for the tip

not all, my monitor (freesync) gets wonky at times when i enable gsync

it does not, but it might be wonky or not work at all at times

 

imo, freesync/gsync sounds nice to have, but it's not entirely necessary.

My Freesync monitor can do "G-sync compatibility" thing, but it causes occasional flickering in games.

Just turn Freesync / G-sync / V-sync off, you won't notice it really at 144+ fps and below 144 fps screen tearing doesn't occur.
