Im a artist/3d character artist well teaching myself to be one i can afford a x570 by gigabyte but i dont know if its worth it im going to get the rx5700xt and ryzen 3700x when they drop in price maybe in december is the x570 worth it????

 

I would like this build to be "future proof" to upgrade from when the next gen comes

Nope, PCIe 4.0 wont give the GPU higher performance. At this point it's only useful for faster NVMe SSDs and using more PCIe expansion cards.
