Ram not running as expected

Hey guys,

Lately I noticed that while running games, my computer is not running to what I would be expecting out of it. I was playing CS:GO at the lowest possible settings at a resolution much below the standard for my monitor. I benchmarked it and it seems that everything is running okay, except for my ram, which is running well below what is expected out of it. I did some searching and tried to activate XMP in BIOS, but all that did was create a boot loop which made me have to reset CMOS afterwards. I made sure that it is running dual channeled as well. Not entirely sure what to do here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Do you have the RAM in the right slots?

Your motherboard doesn't support anything over 2133mhz, that is the fastest speed you can get with that motherboard, nothing you can do sadly.

Not sure if the CF designation is different but that board should support up to 2400MHz RAM according to Gigabyte's site...

Is that the board?  Not a huge step up from 2133 but should help a little with manual overclocking.  I assume the XMP is trying to run that RAM at 3000MHz and causing it to crash?

check the motherboard's QVL. If your is not listed on there, then you the likelihood of your XMP being supported is near zero. You need to now go manual timing.
