gaming Will i hit the 144 fps to use the 144hz?

Good afternoon y'all!

 

I have been planning on getting myself a 144hz monitor, for that I decided to get an upgrade, since my current rig can't reach that.

So I thought of going with the AMD Ryzen 5 2600 with a Vega 56.

Since I also gotta change my motherboard so I thought of 2 : "Prime B450" and the "gigabyte b360" since on amazon the b360 is cheaper i might go with that (but recommendations would be great , cause maybe the extra price pays off)

I have 8 gb of ram.

 

So my question is: Would i get consistent 144fps at games like Overwatch or PUBG or R6S at 1080p?

Or is it not enough?

Overwatch yes, R6S yes.

 

B360 is for Intel, not AMD processors.

 

What B450 PRIME is it? You'll want to make sure the VRM is good enough for future upgrades if you plan on those, and also for overclocking if you want to do that. Usually pricing for better motherboards isn't much more.

It's enough, maybe not on ULTRA EVERYTHING, but you'll be there.

Might wanna get more RAM though, 8GB is cutting it thin today.

Well the rest i am not even sure so...

Cause for the rest of my build i wont be changing anything

What country in Europe? I can probably get you the best option you can buy locally.

Yes, you can buy another RAM stick. With better motherboards you can insert up to 4.

 

You might want to check the power supply to make sure it is good.

Really just that way.

 

Sometimes the model is on the back where the power cable goes in, you can check there.

 

But as long as you don't touch anything inside, you should be able to open the PC and look at the label without shutting it down.

Local used markets. I don't know your areas, but Facebook Marketplace is common around the world.

 

You could try eBay, but that would involve shipping, potential returns, and a 12.9% fee. I would recommend the local market.
