super 2070 SU or 2080 SU?

Hey, i need a new gpu and i am unsure if i should drop an extra 150€ to get a 2080 SU instead of a 2070 SU. 

I game at 4k, but i am thinking about switching to 1440p@144. I am also interested in VR and CAD workloads like blender. 

 

Would you say these 150€ would be worth it? The performance gap between the normal 2070 and 2080 was very small to begin with. 

 

Also both SU cards rock the original 2080 gpu (TU104). The only differences (to my knowledge) are about 20% more cuda cores, a slightly higher clock and a higher power draw. Could the 2080 SU really be that much faster than the 2070 SU?
