Hey All,

Recently completed a new build(Relevant specs below) and am seeing some strange behavior from my 1080TI. After about 30 min of gaming the GPU Load spikes to 100% and the framerate tanks down to 15-20fps. The system operates normally after quitting out of a game, windows looks normal, browsing is fine, video streaming is fine, etc, but attempting to start a game again will result in low framerates until the system has been rebooted. I have a 1080 that I swapped in for testing and the system operates normally for hours of play, it only seems to happen with the 1080TI installed.

Looking at temps everything seems to be within spec 60-65C, so I'm ruling out thermal throttling. Power supply is definitely up to spec for the workload, so I'm not thinking power delivery. I've DDU'ed and reinstalled drivers, flashed BIOS, uninstalled/reinstalled different Ryzen Chipset Drivers, a few times at this point with the same result. Fine for 30 min, then the card just tanks.

Any ideas of what might be wrong?
