Should I Wait?

I am planning on ordering the parts for my build soon, but I have been hearing rumors about Nvidia Maxwell being released in Q1 2014. 

 

This is the card I was going to order: Graphics Card

 

Should I wait for Maxwell?

If you can wait a few more months, then sure, wait for Maxwell.

If you really can't wait you could get it now. But if you have patience, you could wait for the new cards and see how those perform, and if those are not to your liking or not worth it. But then you could snag the card you mentioned probably for a slightly lower price then compared to getting it today.

Depending on the CPU you plan to get you could always run off of integrated graphics until maxwell comes out. But yea I would wait.

never ask if you should wait when it comes to computer technology because you'll be asking yourself that forever. When maxwell is released and the new thing is announced will you wait then? Lol

Maxwell is definitely not coming out in Q1 most likely late Q2 or early Q3 seeing as the new titan, 790 and the maxwell based 750ti shall be coming out in Q1

TSMC has her 20nm machines ready so it could happen anytime

The flagships are definitely not coming the next couple of months, reps from OcUK confirmed this today. Mainstream cards are likely to appear soon as per them.
