My gpu when i plug it in doesnt allign by about a mm. I am able to screw it in which forces it a little bit left. Should i be worried about this putting stress on my gpu? IMG_20190704_091355410.thumb.jpg.e6bc731dc65c37853e2f2f8dc54422b2.jpgthis is what it looks like when i have not screwed anything in. I would never advice forcing anything. But if it fits it sits?

Do you have the same with other cards in that slot? If so it could mean your mainboard is not properly seated.

I/O panel is alligned?

well......

with the tolerances that the gpu is built vs the tolerances the case is built , yeah you might need to do some bending and squishing to get them to line up , i'd consider this very normal

Oh they screw in perfectly fine, i was just worried it was putting too much tension on my gpu by doing so

no the gpu is made out of essentially fiberglass and can bend slightly to make up the tiny tolerances.

If you were bolting a cast aluminum engine part to another cast aluminum engine part and it was a few mm off then that would be a problem , but not here

Bow the back of the case in slightly, I've ran into this from time to time with different cases but almost always cheaper ones. The thinner stamped steel tends to be bowed a little bit from production, just a little nudge and it'll bend back and line up with the card better. It's not really an issue though, I've had things aligned worse for years without problems but if it's a build you're taking pride in then I can understand your annoyance with things not quite lining up correctly, it is...an annoyance.
