PC under £650

My friend wants to build a new PC, mainly for playing Planet Coaster, City Skylines, WWE, FIFA and potentially the new NBA when it comes out.

 

So far I blagged together this:

GPU- EVGA GTX 1660 Ti Black

CPU- Ryzen 5 2600

RAM- Corsair LPX 2x8GB

PSU- EVGA 500w PSU.

MOBO- ASRock B450M Pro4

 

Added a 240gb SSD and a 1tb HDD as well as a cheapy wifi card.

He is adamant on having these Logitech speakers.

 

Any ideas for cases? He's asking ideally around £30-40. Also any recommendations or changes please go ahead!

What the heck is this?

 

You know ryzen wants dualchannel and fast memmory......

Swap PSU for a cx450 or cx550.

 

Mx330 or masterbox Q300L.

 

The rest of the build looks fine. 

 

Perhaps go for a vega 56 instead as its faster and in the same price category

  • For gaming, the 9400F will outperform the Ryzen 1600/2600. It will fall behind in workflow computing, though.
  • Surprising deal on the £20 240GB SSD
  • 16GB DDR4 3000mhz
  • This 1600Ti is a single blower model, but it's a pretty dang good cooler unit. So for the price, it's not a bad buy. I might grab this unit instead if you could finagle a few extra bucks.

You should use a Vega 56 as Goldenlag said it is the same price with better performance
