nVidia GeForce FX 5200 Replacement

It's finally time to replace the FX 5200 in my old computer, and I need a replacement for it. Quieter is better, as long as it's not fanless. AGP 8X, and 256MB of memory. And I have a 350 watt power supply, with a hard drive, 2.4GHz Prescott HT Pentium 4, 2 sticks of DDR 400 RAM, and an ASUS P4P800SE.

 

EDIT: Forgot to mention I can pay up to $50, and it needs a way to connect to a VGA monitor.

I'm in the US, and I'm good buying from eBay, Amazon, NewEgg, and TigerDirect. NCIX if they have anything under $50.

Sadly, 4670s are expensive due to their antiquity.

3650s aren't too bad in relation to what you're looking for.

$50 is quite a bit to pay for that kind of card (thats how much i payed for my 5750+psu)

anyhow why don't you also try craigslist? i've seen quite a few agp on there in my area. Or perhaps you could get a full computer on craigslist for $50 (one of those old corporate dell computers).

I would save up for the 4670 then.

It's not gonna need to be gaming-grade (hell, booting up or scanning a 4K image will be the most demanding thing it will do).

That Visiontek AGP HD3650 should come with a DVI to VGA adapter. I know I had my HD3650 connected to some crap Dell 15" monitor that does VGA only. But, if your requirement for it  is THAT basic, then simply get another FX5200 or the FX5500 someone had linked.

Hd3850 agp was the highest agp card available I believe. There was a 4000 series bit I dont believe it was nearly as powerful.
