DDR4 ECC Registered Memory

I have a boatload of memory sticks from a vBlock upgrade.  They are Samsung branded DDR4 ECC Registered memory, and I'm having a difficult time finding any board or computer that would take them.  Any ideas?  Seems like the registered part is the sticking point.

i was sure most decent ryzen mobos could work with ecc ram, didnt knew it was a problem, is it at least ddr4 2400?

otherwise i would just sell it, if it is just ddr4 2133

I don't believe Ryzen boards will take registered memory, though.  I know some will take ECC.

Registered RAM generally only works with server or select workstation boards. Also, that is Samsung RAM, not Crucial.

Yep, you're right.  I had been looking at some of my Crucial ram earlier.

x99 with xeons works fairly well with Reg ECC. Pretty sure all asus boards at least, I've heard some got it to work on pretty much any board even.

Xeon e5649@4.4 GHz on Asus Rampage II Extreme or Gigabyte x58a-OC (whatever I feel like to set up at a time) , 6x4 GB Kingston HyperX 1600, Gainward GTX 670 Phantom, Samsung 840 Evo 240 GB, BeQuiet L8 530W
