Hello all,

I am trying to build my first ever pc this summer, and I am looking to see where to even begin because there is just so much. My budget is 1200 usd, and all I am trying to use my pc for is doing school work and gaming. I'm not really looking for 4k gaming, just good frames on 1440p and 1080p. The types of games I play are like overwatch, gta V, Battlefield, etc. A variety. The only piece of hardware I really have a preference for is an 80+ gold psu from a reputable brand, if anyone has any ideas or builds they can think of for this pc I would love to hear it.

Thanks in advance!

Whats coming on the 7th? sorry just not aware of all this stuff yet

Ryzen 3000 series launch, and possibly some early if not release benchmarks of the 9900KS, a special edition 9900K, likely with similar binning to what gigabyte has been doing that will hit 5ghz on all cores.
