Hello guys, i have 1 ssd whihc is disk C, and where windows 8.1 is installed, and hdd disk G, where i install all my games in program files folder. What i want is to buy 1 new 2tb ssd, and then copy OS from ssd C and files from hdd G in one new ssd. Is there a way to do it? So all the games can work like the same.. Just dont want to reinstall os or something like that, cuz i got to much to lose in settings in programs and stuff

You can clone the os over and resize the partition, then you can straight up copy and paste your game files from the other hard drive to the new ssd. You'll need to tell Steam/Origin/whatever where the games are but you shouldn't need to reinstall them.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

sudo chmod -R 000 /*

If you don't want to respecify the location of your games, you can make another partition besides the OS on the SSD and assign it the letter G. You can copy the files over to that partition and it would function the same as when you were using the separate drives.
