Should i enable xmp?

hi guys im wondering if its ok to use the xmp option in the bios menu, 

my ram supports 3200mhz, motherboard is gigabyte aorus z390 elite with the new bios update f7, cpu is i7 9700k with nh d15 26c idle 

ive seen same topics on this subject  but they are pretty old and im guessing that stuff might have changed maybe (?)

XMP is often required to get the specs your RAM was sold as. By default it's prob running at 2133

You can enable X.M.P. or you can put in your RAM's frequency, timing, & voltage manually.

 

For some people X.M.P. causes instability but that's usually because of picking RAM that was beyond the spec of what their hardware could handle.

sure, use it. of course, just like overclocking CPUs you could do it yourself, maybe even better than the XMP profile.
