Deepcool Z9 works, but in Tom's Hardware's testing, it performed around 7C worse than Kryonaut on a GPU application. IC Diamond 7 would be better at around 3C worse than Kryonaut.

If you can get IC Diamond 24, IC Diamond 7, Cooler Master MasterGel Maker Micro, Gelid GC Extreme or Kingpincooling KPx, those would be better than Deepcool Z9 (though Kingpin's paste is quite expensive IIRC)

It is a decent paste, just use it and don't worry about differences between it and the "best" ones. For normal use it doesn't matter. Note they also include it with Noctua coolers.

It's good and hard to go wrong with.

In my own testing I get about similar perfomance with noctua nt-h1.. about 1-4 degrees in difference at most (was very hard to spot) Get noctua its also spreads nicely with just a small blob in the middle.
