So here's my current issue.

I recently bought some new headphones a few months ago. (HyperX Revolver S) and I use them to mostly play games. Listening to music and its currently plugged into my Yamaha MG10xu Interface.

So after a month and a half of using these headphones with no issues. The headphones is now starting to make static noises every now and again. Starting as small crackles from my headset.. then the noise of the static gets more louder before the entire audio is cut off. No music. No audio coming from my desktop. but my Mixer is still working since I can hear myself fine as normal.

I have to re-plug my headset into the mixer to get the audio to work again. Sometimes I only have to refresh the music and it works again for the next few hours.. then it starts all over again.

I will also add. if I use my Revolver S with the small USB soundcard that it comes with.  Everything is working 100%.

but then I can't monitor myself or my surroundings.

nvm just read this comment it sounds like you might need a new interface. becuase the included usb dac seems to be working fine. so something in your interface is defintely making noise.

Interface seems to be working fine at the moment. (Plus I only got it last Christmas)

plus. another note. This same problem was effecting my HyperX Cloud 2s when I used them with the USB Dac. (I just thought it was faulty USBs)

PC technology is confusing me right now.

possible usb port issue then ? becuase I doubt its the cans themselves its most likely the usb components have you tried updating motherboard drivers?

try giving it a motherboard audio. also do you have it plugged in to the motherboard usb? or the case?

I have it plugged into the back of the case. not sure how to make the motherboard use it.

well pugging it in to the back should be direct to your motherboards  through it's own usb port. but if you had it originally plugged in to the back try using the front panel  ports. but if you had it originally plugged in to the front try the \back.
