Ok well even just speaking about prices on the DE - PcPartPicker than this could be an alternative if there's truly major concerns (some people posting reviews on Amazon/Newegg in US haven't had issues with it that posted on the card, so it's a slight higher risk of being a non-ideal card):

https://de.pcpartpicker.com/product/7nYWGX/asus-radeon-rx-vega-64-8gb-rog-strix-video-card-rog-strix-rxvega64-o8g-gaming  for 25 euros more.

That has issues with VRM temps.

How much video editing will you be doing and at what resolution? 1080p, 1440p, 4K? What program do you use for video editing? Premier Pro? DaVinci Resolve?

DaVinci Resolve 16

I would personally go for the Vega 64 or another higher card at that price range.  Something like this Vega 64 does beat the 2060 in all areas other than ray-tracing, and heat/noise: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/product/h766Mp/gigabyte-radeon-rx-vega-64-8gb-video-card-gv-rxvega64gaming-oc-8gd .  The only other reason to stay NVIDIA is if your video editing/rendering can take advantage of CUDA.

Ok. Take a look at the third revision further down.

Be advised that the BX500 is cheaper than the MX500 because it doesn't have a DRAM cache, this will make it less good for using as your Windows OS-drive.  I would spend more and at least get a Sata (or NVMe if price isn't much more) that has a full cache for best random read/write performance.  Like this:  https://de.pcpartpicker.com/product/nGzkcf/corsair-mp510-480gb-m2-2280-solid-state-drive-cssd-f480gbmp510  It's about 10 euros more than a sata SSD like the MX500 480GB drive, but it does take advantage of NVMe which is pretty nice (possibly for editing or big file demands).

Ok, thanks.

Here we go again. I have decided that I will stick with stock cooler to bring the price down and then possibly upgrade to a different one later.

For anyone new to this thread, please remember: this is a rgb themed build.

Revised version 3.0:

Only real issue is the Asus Vega gpu. It has VRM thermal issues. It can be fixed by replacing the thermal pad but it means taking the card apart.

The Sapphire Nitro is probably the best Vega gpu but even the Gigabyte one at the same sort of price as the Asus would be a bit better. You also have Powercolor and XFX if you can find one for a good price.

For 4K editing with DaVinci Resolve, you can go equally with highly threaded Intel or AMD CPU's, Nvidia or AMD GPU's. I would recommend at least 32GB of RAM, though.

Even though I only film as a hobby? Im not sure if thats worth the upgrade.

You would know best. It depends on how much time you devote to editing. You may be able to add additional RAM later if you need it, but sometimes the new RAM doeswn't mix with the old RAM.

Not sure I buy this exact phrasing, people add more RAM to computers all the time, it's a thing.  There should be no issues with new vs old ram if you buy the same RAM.  I find it hard to believe that slight age is a bigger factor with RAM working than simply getting a match to the same speed/quality of RAM and matching frequency and timings.

and, of course, sometimes it can be difficult to find RAM with the exact frequency and timings of what you originally purchased if significant time has passed.

I am planning to stick with Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 3200MHz, so that shouldn't be a problem.
