If I populate the A2 B2 it dos fail to POST in did

It will only post if I use the dimm the A1 alone or A1 B1

Yeah, if re-seating the CPU doesn't help then it sounds like your CPU has a bad memory controller. If you have or know anyone with a spare AM4 CPU try putting it in and populating all the slots. If it POSTs with all memory detected then we know your CPU is defective.

PC specs:

Motherboard: Auros B450 Pro  (latest bios)

CPU: Ryzen 5 2400g

RAM: 4x4 g.skill ripjaws V 2666hz

PSU: corsair vs650

Storage: kingston ssd 120gb and segate barracuda 1T 7200rpm

So i had a 2x8gb g.skill ram and i wanted to have more ram on my pc so i buy the exact same ram kit that i had to get a 16gb of ram but if i populate any slot besides the dim 1 and 3 the PC wouldn't boot the fan start spinning but no motherboard logo. Then i test the old and new ram to see if they were damage or defective but they were all fine a trade the motherboard to a gigabyte ab350 gaming 3 with the latest bios and the same happen the only slot of ram that the pc boots was the dim 1 and 3 if i added more or popular all of the 4 dimms the pc won't post

I check the cpu pins they were all good i added 1.5V to the ram don´t work i disable xmp and clear the cmos and don't work as well

no i check all the 4 ram stiks and they work

How did you check? Have you tried substituting the RAM you had first with the two new sticks?

yes and it boot even if i mix 1 new stick and a old one

Then that sounds like one of the alternate DIMM slots is dead

None of the CPU specs give any indication that there's a problem. If you populate slots A2 & B2 (closer to the CPU) while leaving A1 & B1 empty does it fail to POST? I wonder if your CPU has a weak memory controller. You'd need a second CPU to verify that theory though.

If I populate the A2 B2 it dos fail to POST in did

It will only post if I use the dimm the A1 alone or A1 B1

And BTW the dram led on the mobo turn red wen don't post

I will send the CPU to AMD will is in the warranty and see if AMF send me a new one because I belive that is cover by defective product

Thanks for the help
