I am building my first gaming PC and am wondering if I picked parts that pair well together. I am just getting into PC so any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Concerns:

I think my monitor may not be high enough quality

Amazon description says my graphics card supports DDR6 RAM but I watched a YouTube video where a guy used the same graphics card and used DDR4

Not sure if my GPU is strong enough to keep up with the CPU

Um ive got a quite a few issues with the build.

But regardless of those. Wait untill the 7th and get a zen 2 CPU instead.

Get a EX920 drive instead akd constallation ES 3tb drive instead.

Get a TXM 650 watt PSU instead of the focus gold as the entire focus line from Seasonic has issues

That reffers to the memmory the GPU is using, not the memmory the CPU is using.

Also its GDDR6, not ddr6. And GDDR6 comes one the card soldered on.

Edit: what is your budget?

What amazon says is what type of memory the GPU got. Currently the best u can get is ddr6, while the most "new" gpus use ddr5. The guy on youtube meant the typ of ram the pc/mobo got. The gpu got their own memory on them, while on laptops the intergrated gpu uses the mobo ram cuz they dont got their own ram.

Wait for Zen 2. Which drops ok the 7th. Grab the 12 core and a good board.

In other words, come back on the 8th and ask for a build with a budget. And since its your first build. 2000-2500 is way more than enough.

You are building a gaming platform, so you should focus more on the GPU, monitor, and RAM, but with that money, you can basically buy whatever you need, and by "whatever you need" I don't mean the newest stuff out there...

Mainly yes, but also for homework and YouTube

Here is a 9900K spec with a 2080 ti and a nice 1440p monitor. I would hold fire though until Ryzen 3xxx comes out as you will have more choice then. The 8700K or 9700K are both good enough though if just gaming.
