Hello I am looking to spend around 600$ for a gaming and streaming pc. I play rainbow six and rust, looking towards the amd side of things because of pricing but i don't know what is the best parts for the job (Currently using shadow)

Both nVidia and AMD cards offer a decent enough streaming option (Shadowplay and ReLive respectively.)

If you wanted to utilize the GPU based streaming, then it would just be a matter of grabbing the best unit you can.

What is your current build?

Do you currently have a case, SSD, HDD, PSU you can reuse? Or do you need a full build?

Also is this in the U.S.?

Too bad the AMD option is garbage for streaming

Edit: the 100% best option for streaming is Turing NVENC + OBS. Neither shadowplay nor relive are that good streaming option, they are too uncustomizable.

I am ok with using a nvidia gpu just would love to go for ryzen for cpu

Here's a reasonable budget build. Some cuts could be made to pull that price tag in further.

  • Could grab a 1300X currently for $85. It's got decent core/boost clocks, but lacks SMT so the 1600 has a distinct advantage for a few more $.
  • Could grab a VDH MOBO for $10 less. It's a pretty hefty drop in VRM quality, but if you don't plan any overclocking, it's an option.
  • Could drop to 2x4GB RAM or slightly slower RAM, though I wouldn't.
  • Could do a GPU like RX 580, RX 590, GTX 1660, GTX 1060 6GB. All are reasonable, but for price to performance and including nVidia shadowplay, I think the 1660Ti is where it's at.
  • Could get a slightly cheaper case... Though this one is pretty decent for a nice low cost.
