Should i invest and sli the system to give it that extra 50% gpu power since they don’t scale 100% or get a 2080ti?

I recommend using msi afterburner to identify what is the bottleneck.

Could you give a specific example of a game with these symptoms?

No, it wouldn’t be worth it. Maybe sell the 1080ti and get a 2080ti or wait for new cards in July.

I got a ps5 and a pc pretty ballin

If you where willing to spend a ton of money, the 2080ti is a better option. But I wouldn't recommend doing that at all. You seem to be experiencing a lot of late "buyer's remorse", but your system is really great. spending an extra $500 may not make sense if its going to only improve your already great fps by %10-15 is that depending on the game and whatever else is going on. Its better to stick with your system and keep tweaking it to get the most performance out of it rather than replacing parts every year in my opinion. Also, 100fps in doom for this system at max details 1440p is expected performance for these parts i believe. If you want the full 165hz, you may just have to lower some settings or do a few tweaks.

I meant more of the issue with the lights heating it up and causing issues. Atleast from what jayz's video shows.

Don’t want to come across rude but don’t no how to put it! LMFAO! In all seriousness tho temps are fantastic besides the fact the glass covering all the fans surely will be hindering airflow hence why I opted for the 3000rpm noctua fans as a precaution but the fan curve I got is set to the water temp so for every degree Celsius the fans ramp up by 100rpm usually gaming they sit around 1000-1400 rpm I can reduce the speed but with the gaming headset on I’m pretty happy that I don’t get any noise so happy for them to run at those speeds! I have noticed if I go above 2000rpm the psu fan does slow down leading to me believing I’m have a negative airflow and it started sucking air threw the psu exhaust possibly hindering airflow for the psu but temps on psu are around 33c so not goin to complain and start re arranging fans!

in all seriousness iv never heard of rgb lighting affecting pc performance might be an interesting topic on its own!

Don’t see what that has to do with what I asked but cool. You can simply check out his video if you are new to YouTube.

And that’s to ur first question that u asked I replied back. I don’t see how there is a lot of confusion atm. the reason why I explained fans etc etc is because in a computer to combat and eliminate the heat generated by electronic components is fans for airflow in regards to ur comment about lights generating heat and causing issues!
