I purchased a build last year and slumped on the GPU (1050ti)n favour of better MB (MAXIMUS X) and CPU i7 8700K. Also running 16gb 3000mhz ram. And only overclocking I have done is tur  xmp on as not confident with that stuff yet.

So now I'm looking at upgrading the GPU due to having the funds. However I have also upgraded to 2x 1440p monitors. I often have a game running on one screen and word, excel, chrome etc running on the other.

I would like to upgrade the GPU and improve my gaming experience a little currently sitting at 40ish fps on black desert online at medium settings.

So my budget is approx 500 pounds (UK). I can't find the pound symbol on my device lol.

May be tempted to push that a little higher if good reasoning is presented.

So seeking advice from way more knowledgable people then myself.

You can get a 1070ti to 1080 in that range, or Vega 56 and 64 as an AMD counterpart. Keep in mind the 1080 and 1070ti would be used, I haven't found one in your range new, but I'm sure with some searching you could.

Monitors are 75hz.

Been looking at 1080ti on eBay can’t find them for less then 500 so may be the way to go. I’m not to concerned with ray tracing or super ultra settings.

Would just like to up graphics to say high and maintain a stable reasonable FPS. Playing at 40 seems fine for me TBH be nice to have higher though. So the settings upgrade and maintaining fluid operation when moving over to other screen for browsing and running Netflix/YouTube or browsing is my goal.

Just thinking leave the existing 1050Ti in the system to drive the second monitor for youtube/excel/word etc. But if theres no benefit then I will just give it to my sister and upgrade hers to the 1050ti

It really isn't worth it, you should just give it to your sister.

Not looking at that at the moment. Did have a play with MSI Afterburner but put it back to defaults. Not touched the CPU stuff.

Im not to confident with that stuff yet so will be doiing a lot more research over time and will eventually do some minor overclocking.
