Hey guys, wanted to shoot you guys a question and get help for a buddy. He's been having bad cooling issues ever since his PC "fell over" in the back of a car. Hard to know the exact amount of force went down, because he has it in the back of his car and his GF drove that car. Forgot his tower was in their, and noticed it was on it's side(It starting in the standing position). So at the moment he's idling at 60 degrees. And launching League of Legends it jumps to 90. He has reapplied his thermal paste and assured that his cooler is set into the motherboard properly, "All pins being set correctly". If you guys have any thoughts on what could be the issue, whether it be the cooler itself or what. Any help would be amazing ❤️

the force could have cracked old possibly dried thermal paste, so it's good he replaced it. Its possible that he over-tightened the cpu cooler or didn't tighten it enough. I recommend tightening the cooler as much as you can by hand (no screwdriver) without killing yourself to tighten it. The force could have also potentially hurt the fans. Not sure what kind of cooler he's using, but i'd check to make sure the fans are still in good condition
