Its 26 bucks rn on amazon for the 240gb version. Should I get it. Is it worth it? Should I get a larger size?

Do you need more space?  

 

It's a good basic SSD for booting off of.

Not really. I just want it to boto off of and maybe put a game or two on it

Will it run slower the more filled it is?

don't go a larger size on that ssd, at that point it's not worth it at all

I'd say it's more than adequate. I actually purchased three A400s during the years and I think they're decent drives overall and well worth the price.

iirc the ex900 is tho, but then the ms30 will have the same reasons as the adata and crucial

Out of all these which one would you choose? I am looking at the HP EX900 M.2 250GB PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe  rn but not sure if thats the best option. Loking up benchmarks it seems like the speed is way faster though? What do you think?\

Speed is way faster in benches but in real world it's barely if at all noticeably faster. Booting will be the same, programs open the same really.  You'll see the speed if you do huge file work, editors etc.

 

I prefer Crucial if I am not using Samsung, in all truth.

the ex900 is theoratically the fastest, but you won't notice the difference THAT much except if you're pushing it

toshiba has a joint venture with sandisk (part of WD now), who make most of the nand on the market
