Looking for the Best WiFi Setup

Hello There,

I am in the market for a new router. I am currently in a 3 bedroom, 3 floor townhouse with Verizon Fios. My router (currently, a TP-Link Archer C9 V1) sits in the basement (above ground). My signal is pretty weak on the top floor (my smart TV can barely connect).

 

What is the best router? I am also considering Mesh WiFi.

 

Also, I like to have the ability to configure my router.

Ubiquiti network equipment is super nice, I just updated to it and get full signal through my entire house. I did an Edge Router X and an AP lite however I only have a one story home, the AP PRO has excellent range and it would more than likely work great in your situation.
