I got speedlink parthica keyboard.

https://www.kitguru.net/peripherals/keyboards/jon-martindale/speedlink-parthica-core-gaming-keyboard-review/

Keyboard has 5 macro buttons (M1 - M5). I always thought that in game when I change commands to that buttons it will be displayed to key M1 but everytime I changed button to this in game it always switches to ctrl.

In keyboard software setting to one of macro button looks like this:

So if I understood these button are not independent? It just mimic other buttons?

Yes. They mimic other buttons or button combinations such as CTRL + Z.

Please mention or quote me if you want a response. :)

They are macro buttons. Macro buttons mimic a specific button or combination of specific buttons.

Keep in mind some of the programs used to do macros are seen as cheating programs by some games.

Not this time. But macros can be almost as powerful if you know how to use them ;)

I mean.. Depends on how you look at them as extra button. It's not like macro buttons can add a 27th character to the alphabet, but they can make it more simple to do certain actions.

Main reason I bought this keyboard is because of them. It seemed very useful that I could add additional buttons in some games like RTS (group, building shortcut) or RPG (spells, potions), at least what I first imagined. Can you give me some short useful gaming example??

Well if for example one of those actions you wanted to do was a combo, e.g. alt + number = certain spell, you could set your macro to that.
