So I am a hypothetical person who does 3D rendering 'n' such all day long and gaming 'n' such all night.

Is having both a gaming card (e.g. GeForce?) and a rendering card (e.g. Quadro?) in the same system with one monitor plugged into each a thing? A "best of all possible worlds" [reasonable] possibility?

Gratuitous Comment: EVERY case should come with USB-C ports. It's time and past time. WELL past time.

You can do this, but id just get a single faster quadro and game on that. Quadros will game fine, very simmilar in performance to the simmilar speced geoforce card.

Wait, what? I never knew that. NO raytracing, I bet, though.

In any case, I'm going AMD this year. But this is great to know.
