RAM usage at 6GB?

I have nothing running, closed and killed everything i can, and its still using 6gb of ram idle. Making it very hard to play power hungry games like 76, and when not even chrome is open (just discord) audio studders and becomes "pixelated" or cuts out. NOTHING IS OPEN AND I CANT PLAY GAMES.

Correct, you have nothing at all open.  No Razer, Nvidia, Malware services, Chrome, Honey, Adobe, Discord....

 

No, nothing is chipping away at your system resources at all.

 

Btw, it ALL adds up. No matter how small or inconsequential you think it is... Windows + Stuff = RAM used.

You have quite a few things running lol... Razer Synapse, Discord, One Drive, Adobe Helper, Honey Miner(whatever that is), Nvidia Helpers. 31% usage and 6GB idle is pretty high, go to Task Manager and disable all non-necessary start up applications. Do Windows optimizations, like disabling background apps and Windows Game Bar and such. Set Windows to run in High Performance mode, there are a lot of optimizations you can make to fix that sort of issue.

That honey miner thing looks a bit sketchy, and I would recommend disabling all of your startup applications. Go to task manager>Startup> and then right click on everything and click disable

You say you don't have ANYTHING OPEN AT ALL!!!!  yet all I see are things open.  Those are indeed programs open on your computer.

 

I am sorry you don't understand how PC's work, but can't literally show all your processes and claim you have nothing open and using RAM.

Edit:  I totally understand what you mean, but it's more interesting to argue with you   Buy more RAM if you're going to have all those processes open.  The fact you can't play games is odd since I had the same issue as you and I game like a Rockstar almost every night, when I had 16GB of RAM and 7GB used before even opening a game.  *shrug*
