Need help with a good college laptop please

I am going into college this fall and I am looking for a decent laptop buy. I am going to be running the basic college applications as well as apps from Auto Desk such as Auto Cad, Fusion, Inventor, and Master Cam. I have an idea of what I am looking for but can't decide what would be the best. For CPU: Turbo to 3.0+, GPU: 1050 ti or 1060 or a good AMD GPU, RAM 8GB or upgrade able to 16GB. I've been looking at different gaming laptops but can't find a solid review on one. I'd like to stay around $1,000 USD maybe a little more but would also like to add a warranty to it as well. Any help is appreciated!

If you are fine with the slightly higher price, a Dell XPS with a 1050ti might be a good choice. But if you want to keep it more on budget.

This seems to hit most of your requirements.

United States. Not too concerned with weight just not crazy like 10lbs. Around 5 hours would be ideal but know it can differ from usage.

Fine with lower battery life like 3-4 hrs? Fine with 1050TI GPU (since 1650 is newer and faster)? Mind low sRGB display?

I decided to go with the dell g7. It wasn’t too much more than the y530 and offer better internals

G7 7588? Needs a repaste, has low sRGB IPS panel too

Why not 1650 laptops. Better performance, can get under 1k
