Upgrade Recommendations?

Need some advice as to where to go in terms of upgrades. Originally a pre-built that has had an ssd added and the graphics card upgraded. Currents spec:

Graphics Card: Asus STRIX GTX 1070

CPU: Intel I5 4590

Motherboard: gigabyte ga-z97p-d3

RAM: 8gb DDR3

Storage: 500gb Hard drive, 500gb Samsung 850 Evo

Power Supply: Unbranded 550w non-modular

Monitor: LG 60hz 1080p IPS display

Other: Nice case, disk drive etc.

 

Budget is relatively flexible, i'm not made of money but could probably afford to buy equivalently powerful parts as the 1070 if needed.

Any suggestions (especially for motherboard, CPU and ram combos) would be appreciated.

I highly suggest you look for a better PSU.

perhaps a better monitor and a new psu. 

save for Zen 3/intel 10nm upgrade perhaps

New PSU.  Preferably the brands recommended by people here in LTT.
