pc First New PC

So i want to buy my first new pc and I’m checking Newegg, Amazon etc. I’ve found something interesting on new egg but I don’t know if it’s worth the price. Can you advise me if it’s a good deal ? And if not, have you a better idea and place where I can buy one? I don’t want to build it myself (not enough time).

Go to https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/ and put in the components, using th cheapest price unless they give you an exact model.  Then you have an idea what it costs to buy it all yourself, and any difference in price is what you're paying for them to put it together for you. 

 

Then you can determine if it's worth it.

So I took the cheapest on pc part picker and it gives me about 1947$ so I think it’s worth it on Newegg

That's an 8700 with a stock cooler in the Newegg ad, and your components are probably higher quality.

 

But it checks the boxes:

 

6c/12t

16 GB dual channel RAM (probably 2400MHz)

SSD for boot

HDD for storage

RTX2070 for lots of 1080p frames and even 1440p decently

 

That H310 motherboard tho.. 

 

But it'll game for a good 5 years for his uses I assume, or more.  For an enthusiast I'd say no, but isn't a bad deal really.

Better motherboard and all the storage is SSD.  I prefer all SSD but lots of folks don't mind HDD's.

 

The AMD system is about the same balance.  You get a little better CPU for workloads, and less GPU for about the discount I'd expect.

 

It's your call:

 

I'd go #2 or #3.  skip #1.

I prefer 24" for 1080p and 27" for 1440p.  If you get the one with the 2070, you can go 1440p monitor.  Or if you want 1080p 144Hz, go with a 24" monitor.

 

That said, maybe save money and get this.  It's refurbished but it's 1080p 144Hz and curved   Curved is nice.

And if I buy the abs one, does a need to buy a new keyboard and mouse or the ones with the pc are ok ? I don’t play shooter games, just strategy, action and adventure games.

Think of them as free gifts for buying the PC.  Use them a bit, then decide what you don't like about them.  Keyboards and mice are very subjective.  In truth, I prefer the free Dell keyboards over my $150 Logitech glowy big fat thing.
