Affordable headset

Hi all

I'm looking at getting a headset. It has to be under 100NZD.

I would recommend going against the kraken and getting a hyper x cloud 2 or  and takstar mh751/752 much better sounding and more comfortable

Unfortunately they are both out of my price range. I need something cheaper than 100 New Zealand Dollars. The Hyperx Cloud 2 is 160, and the other one is 120 on a discount.

Every time I go to New Zealand I wonder how people afford to live there.

Would strongly recommend against the Kraken if it can be helped.

 

I think the best low budget option is the Logitech G233 for $69. Same sound as the G433, which is respectable.

 

JB Hifi also sells the HyperX Cloud (with PS4 branding) for $84. You may need a 4 pole to headphone/mic adapter to use the microphone, but these are a few dollars off Aliexpress. They also sell the Cloud II for $111.

Yeah, tech is expensive here. Here are some other ones I found that are in my price range, What are your opinion on these?

HS50 sounds great (my favorite of the ones listed so far), but the headband may not adjust far enough for some people and the microphone quality is below average.

 

I'd skip the Cloud Stinger; it's a step down from everything else so far except the Kraken.
