I'm wait till AMD releases something competitive then buy a card. Cause currently anything besides a RX 580 8gb for 160 bucks is a rip off.

R7000 in South Africa which is roughly $470, i think. The price went down quite a bit.

By the time RTX launched the deals on GTX 1080 ti were about gone.

I bought a EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC Black Edition for $656.98 on 8/17/2018. I never saw EVGAs go lower.

 

It was different with the GTX 980 tis. I paid 695.95 for my first EVGA SC+ on 7/7/2015. I bought my second 980 ti SC+ after the GTX 1080 launch for $453.98 on 7/12/2016.

See, I missed the RTX Lunch. When was it, and how was the food?
