This is my second pc build. I am by no means a pro but i have been watching a lot of tech videos for a while now to prepare myself for my personal build. I started off by taking out the motherboard and placing it on the box it came in so that i can test all of the components before building the pc in the case. After putting all of the parts together, i went to turn it on, but it didnt post.

The post codes were:

Ad

30

06

01

50

dE

It also had the VGA white led shining. After doing a little bit of research, i decided to clear the cmos. After doing so, i was able to boot into the bio, so i decided to go ahead and install windows 10. When i go to the part where it asks you to chose a drive to put windows in; it said there was no ssd available. So i restarted the pc, but then it wouldnt boot again (it had the same post codes and vga led).

I tried using different slots for the gpu, m.2 and usb drive but discovered that the ssd isnt detected when in the main m.2 slot, the ssd is detected in the second m.2 slot but the pc wont boot into the usb for windows and then when its restarted it wont post (same post codes and led), and it only boots into the bios after i clear the cmos.

I tried flashing the bios but the bio led on the motherboard flashed 5 times then stayed on for a while. I saw in the manual that that isnt a good sign, so i restarted the pc.

I dont know what to do anymore and sorry if i dont make too much sense.

if anyone can help itll be greatly appreciated.

So when you get into the bios are you setting the correct boot order for your drives? You can adjust the order it will check for is drives. After that I would make sure your drive is formatted correctly. If it is I would take out your CPU, GPU, and ram and plug them back in.

I took my build apart to clean it last weak and when I put it back together it wouldn’t boot. I reinstalled the CPU and RAM and it booted just right.
