installing .NET framework 3.5 while offline (or poor internet) on Windows 8

I bet that some of you have seen this window if you just clean installed windows 8

 

 

but i have a solution for all of you that have poor internet, like myself, or no internet.

 

Step 1. get your windows 8 disk 

 

Step 2. Put it in your disk drive

 

Step 3. double check if the disk has a folder labeled sources

 

Step 4. check if the sources folder has a SXS folder

 

if it has both then move onto step 5

 

Step 5. open up you Command prompt as an admin

 

Step 6. type Dism.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFX3 /All /Source:D:\sources\sxs /LimitAccess  **replace D: with your disk drive**

 

Step 7. press enter and wait till you see this

 

step 8. go to control panel the "programs"

 

Step 9. go to "turn windows features on and off"

 

Step 10. now go check if there is a black box beside .NET framework 3.5

 

 

If you see that black box then congratulations, you've just installed .NET framework 3.5
