Need help finding a laptop/notebook for traveling

Been traveling a lot recently, and about half of my hotel rooms either doesn't have a working to or cable or there isn't a TV at all.

I'm looking for something very affordable, that can play Netflix, YouTube, movies, so pretty much something I can use as an entertainment device but not a piece of poo either.

Since I'd be using it for traveling something durable would be nice as well.

500gb hd or a decent sized ssd. Quad core and 8gbs of ram so it's not sluggish.

My budget is 300-600 USD but cheap and durable is best.

Would appreciate your help, thanks.

At this price point and for this use case, I recommend buying a used Lenovo ThinkPad. Those have excellent keyboards and are very reliable/durable.

That being said, keep in mind that some ThinkPads use terrible sub-1080p TN displays which should be avoided at any cost.

I was looking at some of those. I really appreciate the advice.

Maybe you should check some used premium laptops from amazon, or look towards their renewed program
