Windows problem need help fast

Keep getting a notification pop up saying "Your windows licence will expire soon" and its like every 1-2 mins and it tabs me out of games and is just a pain. I cannot find the problem other then needing a new key. Is there any working free pro keys? or a way to stop this happening. I use my PC for more then gaming its for school also and because of it I cannot use it. Any help would be great

You activate windows.

 

Get a key off Kinguin or eBay.

what if you dont play full screen  or use other apps like  boarderless gaming etc.

all i know it will just leave a watermark on desktop

@dgsddfgdfhgs Hi, what do you mean? I tried to go back to the version where the watermark's the only issue but I cannot find a way to do that. I tried to do it in the cmd but it seem'd to have not worked.

does end tasking the application solve it? not sure if comes up as a .exe file in task manager but you could try blocking the application in windows firewall if it is an .exe. you could also try changing its security permissions under its properties and set everything to 'deny' under all the users in the list, as long as its a .exe application.

 

but if it keeps popping up 1 to 2 mins, sounds more like a virus infection. to be honest.

What about an old, unused Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 key?

So, you want to discuss about piracy? Because using unactivated Windows is against EULA and it's basically the same as using pirated activators.
