Hello,

I've recently upgraded my internet download speed at my provider to 400 Mb/s. All my devices have no problem getting to those speeds even using wifi except for my main desktop wich is connected by cable (cat 7). It's not a cable problem because i get near 400 Mb/s on my laptop using the same cable.  I also have the latest drivers installed. MOBO is the msi Z270 XPOWER GAMING TITANIUM. pls halp.

Your mobo have 2 Ethernet slots, maybe it has to do something with that, is there a main one and plugged it in the other?

Post a screenshot of speedtest.net results on your Cable Desktop connected PC. Make sure it's indeed CAT7

and Post a screenshot of speedtest.net results from your laptop PC connected via the RJ45 cable (the CAT7).

Could you do that?

Did you install the "MSI GAMING LAN MANAGER"?

I had a similar issue with my Killer NIC software.  it was capping my bandwidth at the old speed,  I had to re-run the speedtest within the software, so it could set new bandwidth caps.
