I had windows 7 64 bit and I just upgraded to win 8 pro. I installed win 8 and now when I try to login I get a black screen and a mouse pointer. How do I fix this?

It happens when you merge a Local Account and an Online Account. Did you happen to create the local account and then after getting your ethernet/wireless drivers working go and sign in with your MS account? If yes, then the only fix is to reinstall Windows 8. I had the same issue on my install when I first went to Windows 8.1.

I use wired Moca adapter. And it won't let me install Intel network lan drivers. I went into safe mode nerworking. And regular safe mode but still won't let me.

Well you may just want to boot and leave it for a little like another person said. Otherwise do a fresh install. That should fix it.

If I leave it do I have to do that every time I boot my pc? Or the first boot only?

Ive never had the issue. You may want to ask the other person. I would see if you can boot it, leave it on and see.

Turn off Fast Boot in Windows. It might also be a option  on your motherboard if it supports UEFI.

I know you can't see it right now. Are you able to remote into the computer? Otherwise, remove your graphics card and run on integrated graphics if your motherboard has it, then turn off Fast Boot from there.

itll prob only be the first boot. i would recommend a fresh install as upgrades are always dirty and have tons of issues
