Currently I'm eyeing the Xaomi note 7 as a new phone due to an unfortunate event breaking my google pixel (first gen).

After doing some looking around and fist considering a moto g6 I found out that the note 7 launched in belgium and have been looking at getting the 128gb version of it for 260€. Now my question is is there a better phone out there that is below 300€? (I can go a bit over it but not by much). Any input will be appreciated.

My main focus points are:
Pretty good battery (I could do 3days without a problem on my pixel)
Good camera (mostly just to take reference pictures so anything that's half decent will do)
Headphone jack. I'm almost nonstop listening to music due to medical reasons and need to be able to charge and listen at the same time if needed.
Doesn't break by touching it. I had the zenfone 5 zoom on my eyes but those have screen issues appear at random so sadly that's a nogo.
If possible no notch but I'm willing to compromise on it.
Under 300€ perferably (if a good reason I will go over it a bit).
About the same size as the original small google pixel (160mm tall)

My phone to if at all possibly match is the original google pixel (small one).

The pocofone f1 is off the list due to insane prices here by lack of availability (talking 400+ here for the base model).

Thank you for your time.

Xiaomi Note 7 is quite a solid phone, you can go for it.

If you want something better, check out (not sure the prices in belgium..):

- Xiaomi Mi 9 SE (it did fall below 300 here in Germany, or if you import it, but should be around 300€)

It has an even faster SoC (Snapdragon 712 vs. 660), it has 6gb Ram instead of 4 (even as 64gb Model), and it is a smaller device (5.93" Screen, 147mm tall).

Also, it comes with 2 nice features, the Note 7 doesn't have: NFC and an Oled Panel.

- Xiaomi Mi 8 (flaggship from 2018), Snapdragon 845 beats both, the snapdragon 660 and 712.

A bit bigger, similar to Note 7 size. Bigger, "outdated" Notch design, but yea. It's available for a quite good price. And i think, for +100 bucks (going from Note 7), it is worth it. You get a better screen, way more performance, NFC.
