Hi

i have been having problems with my ping recently and i was told to download HWINFO to monitor the network. on the sensor  status it says my current DL is 436 when im not doing anything and my minimum and maximum is around 434-439. these numbers don't really mean anything to me so i was wondering if these were normal or not? and also when i go to update drivers on say my gpu within HWINFO it just takes me to the softwares main website so im abit confused about that as well.

Thanks for the help

When you open up your sensor status it should list under network,

"Total DL

Total UP

Current DL rate

Current UP rate"

with various values for each. if you're not seeing that, then reinstall hwinfo, because something is borked with your sensors.

Also, my limited understanding of Hwinfo... it wont give you any networking information more than what you would get with windows 10 task manager, if you just wanted to watch your network usage.

So for Total DL, thats just how much data you've downloaded or streamed from the internet since your computer has been online. ~450MB is completely normal for normal light video streaming and web browsing. That MB means Megabytes, which is just a measurement of data.

For example, my hwinfo shows I'm at 4,137 MB, and 4,161 MB on my total DL for the last 8 hours. pretty standard for my usage.
