Gaming Labtop for overseas travel

I will be leaving for air force basic military training in less than 2 months and plan on buying a gaming labtop to use after I finish that. I've been using a custom amd build from 4 years ago as my main pc of choice to game on. With this upcoming change in my life I'm wanting a good labtop to take with me as I travel from base to base. Budget isn't necessarily an issue but I don't need anything too excessive. I need one with:

I7 core 

16 gb (preferably 32 gb) of ram 

gtx 1060 or better 

a mechanical keyboard (not necessary but preferred)

And a disc drive (external one can be acquired of course if need be)

A newer model year or 2 old is perfectly feasible for my needs since most labtops current seem like overkill since I mostly play games like Hearthstone, Destiny 2, and soon to come out Borderlands 3. 

Any and all suggestions for what to buy would be greatly appreciated. Mouse and headphones I'm taking with me so I'm not worried about that.

The Asus Zephyrus line right now is probably the best for it's cooling and thin build.

Don't know much about other brands as I haven't kept up with them.
