G502 Lightspeed will not charge

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone knows why my new Logitech G502 Lightspeed will not charge, I have plugged it into working USB 3.1 and USB 3 on my motherboard with the official cable provided but in Logitech G Hub the battery percentage will not increase. I am starting to wonder if it is faulty as if I remove the wireless adapter and try to run it in wired mode it comes up as 'Not Connected'.

UPDATE: The mouse was faulty and I got a refund.
