Ps4 DMR Question

Me and my friend share our psn accounts. He changed his password and red dead redemption 2 was locked for me on my PlayStation. If I lose internet, will I be able to play my downloaded games that were bought with my account? Or is there a period where you can play offline then you have to connect with sony servers again?

According to the interwebs, as long as the PS4 is considered the primary PS4 of that account, you can play the game offline.
